Crack Down On Muslim Brotherhood

Minneapolis, MN- The most recent crack down many Muslim Brotherhood supporters have been tossed in jail for acts of violence and seizers have been ordered as of late by the Egyptian military coup. As of Monday Egyptian security force's have arrested Anas Beltagi, son of the current brotherhood leader. Beltagi was arrested for inciting violence and in possession of a shot gun and ammunition.

Since the overthrow of President Morsi, a Muslim Brotherhood member, in July, the Military coup has been systematically arresting leaders of the group. Since then, the Brotherhood has been declared illegal.

As the crack down has escalated the past few months 4 Al-Jazeera journalist's on the grounds of aiding the Muslim brotherhood. As was the Brotherhood accuse of acts of Violent Terrorism with in the state. Most recently the Egyptian interim government has issued a seize of 572 Muslim Brotherhood leaders according to Abdel-Azim el-Ashri, a Justice Ministry spokesman.

the most resent escalation came as the military vowed to confront "the forces of terrorism and darkness" and protect the upcoming January 14-15 vote for  Egypt's new draft constitution.
